New website channels funds for the good of the Boerne area

December 8, 2006

Boerne, TX – Digett, a Boerne-based web marketing firm, has announced the launch of boernefoundation.org, a web site for the newly-formed Boerne Area Community Foundation (BACF). The BACF was created this year to promote philanthropic good by providing opportunities for charitable giving that benefits the Boerne area community. It was designed to serve donors and local non-profit organizations.<--break->

John Rogers, Trust Manager at Frost Bank and one of the founding directors of BACF, commissioned Digett to build a web site that would effectively communicate the Foundation’s objectives. Additionally, Rogers wanted a way to automate the donation process.

“The site’s on-line donation form makes donating as convenient as possible,” said Rogers. “We think that anything we can do to increase the Foundation’s incoming funds will ultimately benefit the Boerne Community.”
Digett donated approximately $2500 in services for the web site effort.

“Through our work with the Boerne Chamber, the Convention & Visitors Bureau, Leadership Boerne, and the Cibolo Arts Council, it is evident that we enjoy promoting activities that benefit our community,” said Digett’s President Mark Figart. “The BACF is a long-overdue resource to our community, and we’re happy to have played a role in its development.”
