We have a stipulation in many of our agreements that is clearly contrary to these statements I ran across on Blue Flavor's web site:
The client owns the work. Never charge extra for licensing, royalties, source code or mechanicals.
Would you believe me if I told you I was just thinking about this very subject -- and that little piece of fine print in our contract -- TODAY?!!
Blue Flavor, you are a class act, and we humbly follow your lead; although I swear I was going to do this anyway. How ridiculous to charge a client for source code that was created as a result of the client's willingness to pay us to create it in the first place!
